Transports Cordier is optimising its transport operations with AddSecure Co-Driver
The french company, Transports Cordier, analyses the driving behaviour of its drivers, all of whom are equipped with the Co-Driver application and generate savings on their fuel consumption as well as on the frequency of the tyre replacement.
Founded 50 years ago, Les Transports Cordier is the second largest French actor specialising in high-volume transport (350 vehicles). Co-managed by Ludovic and Anne-Marie Colley, the company has 400 employees and handles several types of goods such as packaging (metal, iron and plastic), insulation products and sanitary products.
The head office is based in Is-sur-Tille in Côte d’Or with 5 agencies across France, St-Evarzec (29), Bonneuil (94), Chalon/Saône (71), Avignon (84), Trith-St-Léger (59) and 1 subsidiary in Belgium. The family-owned company recorded a turnover of 50 million euros in 2019.
Transports Cordier has already worked with AddSecure from 2000 to 2008 to manage its fleet thanks to the Positioning and Missions solutions. In 2012, with a concern to reduce fuel costs, improve the driving behaviour and attracted by AddSecure’s Eco-Driving offer, they have signed up for a new collaboration.
An Eco-Driving solution for fleet managers
Thanks to the AddSecure solution, the transport company can manage their fleet in real time and analyse the driving behaviour of their drivers. This makes processes and administration work much easier and Eco-driving helps reduce costs (fuel, tyres).
