AddSecure today announced that the company has successfully expanded the scope of its ISO 27001 certification (ISO/IEC 27001:2022) to include the entire Smart Alarms business unit’s operations across Europe and all corporate functions within the Group. This adds to the existing certification of the Management Systems supporting its Smart Transport business unit’s operations in the UK and its Smart Mobility business unit’s operations in the Netherlands.
This internationally recognized standard, verified by an independent third-party assessor, provides a systematic approach to managing sensitive company information, ensuring its confidentiality, integrity, and availability within AddSecure’s Management System.
The ISO 27001 framework also ensures that adequate security controls are in place to protect information from corruption or loss and establishes robust procedures to prevent data security breaches and theft, as well as identifying, controlling, and managing risks to the security of information assets.
“This certification is the gold standard for information security and demonstrates AddSecure’s continued commitment in making the security of our systems, data, and the information entrusted to us by our customers and partners, a top priority. We view this not only as a validation of our current practices but as a foundation for maintaining trust and staying at the forefront of industry best practices,” said COO Krister Tånneryd.
AddSecure is a leading European provider of secure IoT connectivity and end-to-end solutions and a fast-growing business. Since its establishment in 2015, the company has acquired 22 businesses, and maintains a firm focus on further expansion. Achieving full certification of the entire group’s operations according to the ISO 27001 standard by 2026, is one of AddSecure Group’s top strategic priorities. This effort will persist as AddSecure acquires new companies.
